This is the Fiat Uno Turbo. Engine capacity of 1400cc coupled with a well designed Turbo system equals one potent little monster. These Uno's are a force to reckon with right from the production line. The power to weight ratio gives it such an advantage over its opponent, that anyone who meets it on the white line will have to think twice... This particular Uno has undergone some slight modifications, as listed below... Not much done to the exterior, besides the de-badged grill and the addition of 16" Alfa Rome alloys. On race days the front receives a set of 15"s wrapped in Dunlop SP7000D tyres...
The engine received a bit more attention. The standard air-box unit was removed and a BMC cone filter filled its place. The stock boost pipes were upgraded to steel and a dump valve was fitted. The standard exhaust was replaced by a 63mm pipe to relieve the back-pressure... This Uno currently hosts a Mitsubishi TD04H 15T with boost levels ranging from 0.7bar to 1.2bar. This produces 129KW on the wheels. This power in conjunction with the weight and traction yields a 1/4 mile time of 15 seconds. There is still much left to as this cars potential is endless...
